There is currently a plague of spurious users joining the forum (but posting nothing). I have been removing 5-15 per day and the number appears to be growing. Most of them appear on many other forums and this suggests that somebody is running software to do this.

They often list an overseas location and have a website listed. Some of these websites have been extremely unpleaseant or try to download executable files to machines logging on to them.

I don't suppose many of you go straight to the Memberlist but, if you do beat us to viewing one of these spurious listings, treat the website listed with extreme caution.
