The taxpayers of Northumberland
DO NOT
want to change their successful education system

NEAG's response to "consultation"

On the 14th April 2005 a team of 7 NEAG representatives went to London to present our findings relating to the educational debate in Northumberland. Those findings are shown on the consultation response page.

ONLY 22% of the people of Northumberland want a change to the education system - this document shows why.

As part of the preparation for this visit NEAG were offered a meeting with Tony Blair the week after the General Election.

A huge thank you to all those NEAG members who contributed to this document. We also acknowledge the input of the DfES, OfSTED, ONE North East, and the various educational research institutes referred to in the submission.

It is now 3 years, 6 months, 22 days, 20 hours, 58 minutes since Tony Blair offered to meet NEAG during the week of 7 May 2005. Tony Blair continues to ignore this commitment.
