The Northumberland Education Action Group ( NEAG ) comprises of a group of volunteers and acts as an umbrella group supporting the 15 action groups around Northumberland. NEAG is campaigning against the abolition of the 3-tier education system and its' members raised over 30,000 signatures on petitions and well over 300 of them marched on County Hall in June 2004

NEAG’s aim is:

“ The advancement of education by the support and promotion of the 3-tier education system in the County of Northumberland.”
